Our Story
We built this because retirement shouldn't require a finance degree.
Retirement Clarity Community is free retirement education without the jargon, pressure, or confusion.
Why we built this
Too many people reach retirement overwhelmed by conflicting information, aggressive sales pitches, and jargon that makes simple decisions feel impossible. Retirement isn't the finish line — it's the start of a new path.
Whether you're managing your finances, navigating Medicare, protecting your health, or figuring out what this chapter of life actually looks like, finding trustworthy resources can be harder than it should be.
Think about it: the rules of money completely change the day you retire. Until then, you're focused on growth. After retirement, it becomes about creating cash flow and protecting what you've built. Our goal is to provide free education to help make these decisions easier.
What this community is
Retirement Clarity Community has two parts that work together. This website is the library — plain-English guides, topic explainers, and curated links to official government resources. The Facebook community is where real people ask questions, share experiences, and support each other through the retirement transition.
Together, they're designed to feel like a knowledgeable friend who happens to know this stuff — not a sales funnel, not a lecture, and definitely not another site trying to sell you something.
Who we're here for
Anyone looking for guidance in retirement — whether you're still a few years out or already in it. Pre-retirement, already retired. We are your community.
Also welcome: spouses navigating these decisions together, adult children helping aging parents, and caregivers who find themselves managing someone else's retirement alongside their own. If retirement touches your life, there's a place for you here.
Our editorial standard
Every guide on this site is reviewed for accuracy to the best of our ability before publishing. We make a genuine effort to keep information current — Social Security COLA announcements, Medicare premium updates, IRS contribution limits — but retirement rules change, and something may occasionally be out of date or imperfect. We're not infallible.
Each article includes a "Last reviewed" date so you know how current it is. Nothing on this site should be treated as professional financial, tax, legal, or insurance advice. If you spot something that needs correcting, use the contact page to let us know.
What we won't do
- Give you individualized financial, tax, legal, Medicare, or insurance advice
- Recommend specific financial products or advisors without full disclosure
- Use fear, urgency, or alarm to get your attention
- Bury the useful answer under five disclaimers
When a topic genuinely requires a qualified professional — a fiduciary advisor, a CPA, an elder law attorney, a licensed Medicare agent — we'll say so directly.
